Partner Charities
Mkuyu Ilenga Foundation is a registered Tanzanian non-government organization that supports Mkuyu Guide School. Since 2013, Mkuyu Guide School has been breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty by preparing Tanzanian youth for careers in nature-based tourism. The school has successfully placed over 100 graduates in the safari tourism and hospitality industry to date. fraction provides branding, communications, and fundraising support to the Mkuyu Ilenga Foundation in support of this life-changing work.
Motivation
We could write at length on the reasons why our firm is committed to social impact in a world brimming over with need, but the late American writer Leo Rosten distilled it beautifully:
"I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be 'happy.' I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be honorable, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have it make some difference that you lived at all."
